raw water pump replacement

I have had a small leak from the raw water pump, and now the housing is showing signs of rust. I have identified the Universal replacement pump and also believe that Sherwood pump is the manufacturer. Has anyone purchased a Sherwood or only used the OEM Universal pump?

I'm nearly positive that Sherwood makes the water pumps on the M35 engine.

Interesting item I learned. the Sherwood pump (G908)is as expensive as the Westerbeke OEM pump(042175)(same item) , but the Westerbeke / Universal comes with more attachments / gaskets, etc.. I plan on picking the Universal pump up this weekend and will confirm this info.
