Catalina 350 International Association

Got our new 350 this weekend. It was pure joy and pure terror on day 1. Sailed from Mobile Bay to Orange Beach, AL. Beautiful day, beautiful weather. Day 2, we learned a lot about how well she handles. A little gusty (up to 20 kts) so we didn't use much sail, but it was a thrill anyway. Looking foward to this weekend to take her out again and learn a little more. Drank a lot of Champagne, but left some for this weekend

Congratulations with your new boat. We also bought our boat in Mobile. Turner does a good job and the price was right !
Sailed Belcourt #165 from Mobile to Punta Gorda Fl on her maiden voyage.
Do not trust NOA on the Gulf. I know from experience "winds calm 5 to 10" and when I entered the Gulf it was more like high waves winds 20 to 25.
