Headboard for aft end of mattress in fwd cabin?

Has anyone has created and/or installed a removable headboard for forward island berth? My bride and I sleep feet to bow.

I’d like a removable diy headboard that I can install and would appreciate any suggestions or ideas… so far internet only yields this:

No answer to your specific question about making one but my wife and I have talked about trying to install a baby bed side rail there. Something like this

We have not done it yet and continue to sleep head-to-bow because we have not worked out the best way to get around it when one of us has to inevitably use the head during the night.

Curious to see what you end up doing.
