Cleaning Ultra Leather Cushions

We have white ultra leather cushions in the main salon and I’m wondering what other owners have used to clean them. I’ve tried a bit of Dawn dishwashing detergent and also Simple Green but didn’t see much change. The good news is they’re pretty clean to begin with and don’t have any stains so maybe that’s as good as they get.

Hi Ken,

How about taking the covers off and having them dry cleaned?

Mine are the dark blue ones, so they don't show the dirt, grime, spilled drinks, etc.

However, I do Scotch Guard them every year, or two.

Interesting idea - dry cleaning. I may send one in and see how it compares with one I've already "cleaned"
Thanks.

I have white interior vinyl seating (is that the ultra leather? I think it is) and also the cockpit cushions same color and material.

I use z cleaner they sell at West Marine. No problems.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'll give it a try.

I've had success using 'Bleche-Wite' Its an old Auto Products cleaner made for whitewall tires but works well on cockpit cushions, etc. Look for it at your auto parts store.
