Battery Test Switch

The Battery Test Rocker switch on my electric panel works intermittently. I have replaced the rocker switch twice, but I still have the same problem. Sometimes when I press it to either 1 or 2 it works and sometimes not. The wires seem to be snugly connected to the switch. Any suggestions on where I should check?

Thank you

Hi Matt,

Mine does the same thing.

However, if I wiggle the switch a little, it does read.

Mine is definitely with the switch which I have never replaced.

Where did you find a replacement switch?

Thanks,

Hi Bill,

Thank you for the reply. I will try your suggestion.

I purchased the switch from Catalina Direct. Here is the link to the switch I purchased. Very easy to replace. 10 minute job.

From memory this is wired to the input terminals of the battery selector switch. You could check there, but if neither is working then I would look at the negative battery connector which will almost certainly be common for both.
I am unable to visit my boat to confirm atm as down with Covid and in iso.
