I am planning to apply for a PHRF certificate from the HRYRA and want to know if anyone can share some information as to what a C350 usually rates out at with my type of set-up. I have shoal keel, in-mast roller reefing mainsail and the 135% roller reefing jib. No spinnaker. Also have the Autoprop in place of standard prop.

Does anyone have exact measurements of the in-mast reefing mainsail? My paperwork from Catalina does not differentiate mainsail dimensions.
Thanks,
Richard

Richard, I have the wing keel, roller furling main, and a fixed three blade prop. For the last two years I have participated in the Harvest Moon offshore event (150 miles, Galveston to Port Aransas TX) and received and participated under a rating of 177.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Sam for your reply to my first email. FYI, I received my PHRF rating from the Hudson River Yacht Racing Association and it is 165. Note that I have an Autoprop, wing keel, in-mast main furling and 135% furling jib. No spinnaker.
The base rating for the boat was 150 and I gained points for the furling sails and lost points for the autoprop.
Hope this helps anyone who plans on applying for a PHRF Rating.
Now all I have to do is make it around the course.

Our 350 (#180) was recently PHRF rated 174 with: Furling Main, 135% Jib and 3 blade Autoprop.

And Vindaloo finished first in her class (PHRF non-spinnaker) in the 2006 Harvest Moon Race from Galveston to Corpus Christi with at rating.
