Replace VHF Cable
Ok, just got the quote $2000 to unstep and step my mast to replace the bad VHF cable. Seems like a lot to just put in a radio cable. Anyone have any success with changing this cable with the mast up? Would the PL259 connector fit through the conduit in the mast?

I have a keel stepped mast, and my electronics guy replaced my cable without unstepping the mast. Can't provide any detail about how he did it as I was there, but he did it. Seem to recall it cost me $1,300.
