Hello,
Can anyone confirm IF the Carbon Disc on the PSS seal should have any movement when installed?
Thanks

Re: Carbon Disc on PSS Shaft Seal
Hi Ed,
My recollection is that the carbon seal is very moveable as it is floating on the surface of the matching metal face and is held in place by the rubber bellows. You should be able to wiggle it side to side and if you pull it back water will squirt through the seal faces.
