Reinstalling midship water tanh

Post by RFBaker167 »

Original owner removed midship water tank to make room for extra starting battery. I'm reinstalling midship tank and replacing extra battery with portable 300 Amp Jump Starter.
Apparently, prior owner removed connection under galley sink for midship tank, since I found non-standard water hose between shutoff valve and suction side of water pump. There are two remaining valves for controlling forward and aft tanks. I'm assuming that there was a T-connection where the midship tank supply hose connected to the suction side of the pump.
I'd welcome any feedback so that I restore the plumbing to factory original. I'm likely going to replace a number of water hoses with new fittings.
Also replacing galley faucet since the flexible hose failed last weekend and most of the water was going into the bilge and making a wet mess under galley sink.
