Hi All,
My Catalina 350 is a 2004, #193.
All of the cabinets and drawers use the same push button latch. The knobs are polished chrome in color and the mechanism itself is pretty much plastic. I don't see any manufacturer, or p/n stamped on the part itself.
I have two where you push the button to lock the cabinet / drawer in place but it won't stay pushed in. It pops right back out.
CatalinaDirect has what looks to be the correct replacement for $50.59. Their p/n is Z3093.
I'm looking for someone who has actually used that CatalinaDirect part in a boat made around 2004 give, or take. Or, someone who has ordered from a different vendor where the part is a direct replacement.
Appreciate the help!
Bill

Re: Cabinet / Drawer Latch
Hi Bill
I have a 2002 Catalina 350 Hull #1 and the latches I had on mine were quite unique. The Catalina Direct latches didn't work for the drawers or a couple of areas where the space was built for the original latch in it's exact design. I used AI to locate the original manufacturer and found them! Here is a link to the exact product[https://knobdeco.com/sugatsune-tlp-bb-c ... QgQAvD_BwE] they put on my boat. I'm not sure if they consistently used these latches because when I look at all the 350's for sale, they appear to use latches closer to the Catalina Direct product.
The good news is they are cheaper than Catalina Direct and they are a simple swap out. I found the Catalina Direct latches were too small for the hole cutout in the cabinet so even once fitted they were still quite loose. I bought two as a test and will now get a few others as spare to change them out over time.
Good Luck!

Re: Cabinet / Drawer Latch
English Lady,
Thanks for sharing!
I ended up buying the one from Catalina Direct, p/n Z3093 for $50.59. It fit my boat, but the price is way out of bounds.
So, I dug a little deeper and found this one; https://www.hafele.com/us/en/product/pu ... -00871119/. The cost, $9.48.
This is just the mechanism and does not include the chrome pieces which I don't need. The mechanism is what breaks as most of the guts are plastic.
The next time another one breaks, I'll take measurements and see if the one you mention above, or the one I found, works.
Thanks again!
Bill
