Re: Newbie heads out
Found the water pressure issue was not the pump. Item in the trunk slid sideways when the boat tilted at little shark. They pulled the cold water hoes off the transom shower. All Ok.

Re: Newbie heads out
I’m going to see about a trans replacement. It’s cheaper than huge tow bill.
Anyone replace both engine and trans with larger beta or yanmar?

Bottle was low and added Green coolant to correct level. What is normal on temp? Do these. Engines get hot like a car engine g...

Re: Newbie heads out
We are out of Little Shark and now in upper Mata Combe. Inside. Will look for pump out and continue north. At Shark the error was not so much the CQR but that I was in a rush and did not put the boat in reverse to set. Plus these moon tides and current. So much to learn just to be safe. Then we can ...

Re: Newbie heads out
We wee severely affected by currents as my choice was too near the outlet to the sea. Won’t happen again.
I don’t know if my post went thru that we at at a slip in Marco Island. 70$. Nice.
We decided to make for Indian River inlet just south of cape Ramano. That could change.

Re: Newbie heads out
We did not make Venice. We go a late start noonish. We are anchored on the outside of big pass south Sarasota. Went close to shore somewhat protected just outside marked swimming area of huge hotel. Dinghy towed fine. 5-6 knots. Primary an hor would not deploy. Breaker was off. Usining CQR. If it pu...

Re: Webasto quits after 16 months
The full replacement of the Webasto unit completed Boat yard indicated that this was one of the worst installations he had seen in 18 years, and needed to be re-done correctly. During the testing, he did put a charge into the system and it did indeed, start cooling. However, the switch controls in t...
