Garhauer Dinghy Davits

I purchased Garhauer dinghy davits at the last boat show and now want to install them.
I chose these from the other brands because of the high quality of the Garhauer hardware used on the boat and the customer service I received when the sheet blocks needed attention.
Does anyone have pictures or drawings of the locations for the install and did you have to move the stern light with the dinghy raised into position.
Thanks for any helpful hints.

I purchased them several years ago because Garhauer's have a 350 and I think they have them on their boat...so I would ask them. I did not move the light. My boat yard installed it for me.

Thanks to all who replied to my request .
The deed is done and the install went well.
About three to four hours and the units are finished.
The dinghy lift height appears great enough so the stern light is not obscured.
I am very impressed with the quality of the Garhauer product and would recommend them to other 350 owners. They did not come with detailed instructions, but were easy to assemble and install (with a little help from my friends).

I also bought a set at the boat show last month. Still have not installed them. If you can post some pictures showing the final height and the placement laterally I would appreciate it. I am reluctant to drill the holes.

George and Duncan,
It was hard to drill holes in my boat......but it was needed. I know your pain!.
I have some pix of the install and I had some help from Bill Templeton of
"Makani Kai" C350 #333 and Richard Ad who sent me great shots of the installs.
My boat is in Greenwich NJ for the winter and you are welcome to stop by and see how and where I placed the fittings. Both rear hatches will open without interference from the support braces.
If you want to have the pix (both mine Richards and Bill's) I can send them if you give me your e-mail.

How does the added weight of the dinghy/davits behind the transom affect performance or waterline? We already seem to collect barnacles in the white section of the aft starboard hull just below the blue boot stripe.

Thanks

Gary and Janet,
I offset the weight of the dinghy and motor with the all chain 200' installed in the bow plus the CQR 35.
I added bottom paint across the stern about 1" up.

I carry a Mercury 9' air-floor dingy (approx 85 lbs) on my Garhauer davits and a 5HP Mercury outboard (approx 55 lbs) on the stern pulpit mount. When my forward water tank is full my bottom paint on the stern sits above the water line and when it is empty the bottom paint is even with the water. I noticed very little water level difference when I carry the dinghy. This August when I pull to paint the bottom I will raise the bottom paint by 1" to 2" on the stern. No noticeable difference in sailing or motoring with or without the dinghy. Davits and Dinghy were the best addition to my C-350.
