This is simple project. The main reason I have this is for the air-conditioning. Instead of drop boards, this allows easy in and out of the cabin. It also works to protect the finish on the drop boards, and to keep water out during heavy storms and while washing the boat. It has a weight in the bottom seam, so it will not blow out of place.

To enter the cabin, you just lift it and set it on top of the sliding hatch, then slide the hatch. Simple.
