Electro Scan by Raritan

Does anyone have the Electro Scan installed on their 350? If so, where did you locate it? Any issues with installation and/or maintenance? We currently sail in the Gulf of Mexico and surrounding area, so we are in a salt water environment. But eventually we will travel to other areas that are not salt water. How should we plan for this when installing the system?
