Pardon this somewhat basic question, but I haven't seen this specifically discussed, only in passing. How do the freshwater tanks vent on our boats? We have the optional third tank, in case that matters. We could not find anything in the manual or anywhere else. It's difficult to trace back all the hoses on the boat to see where they might be connected to a vent/vents. Thank you!

The aft tank vents just below the fill point on the stb side transom. The forward tank vents inside the anchor locker on the stb side. Small SS covers over the vent holes.

Thank you for the reply. That must be for the Mark II's. On our (earlier) model, we finally found that the vent runs from the top of each tank through a hose to a vent on the transom. Since we have the third tank, we have 3 vents in a row near the top of the transom towards the port side. When filling up the tanks, we can hear it gurgle as the tank is reaching capacity. I appreciate the reply and now realize that our early model setup didn't match what others were saying.

Re: Fresh Water Tank System Venting
Our hull is #68 and it has fresh water tank venting as ZigZag describes above: Bow tank has a stainless vent cover very near the fill point in the anchor locker. Stern tank has a stainless vent cover on the stern, directly aft of the propane locker. We don't have the optional 3rd tank.
