head base plate

I removed the wobbly base plate that was mounted under the head. It had failed, allowing the head to be unstable. It was a very easy fix. Remove the screws, mark and drill three holes, insert and tighten the lag bolts. No more nosie than befor-you never were able to discreetly flush and still will not be able too, but it is now rock steady.

Sam,

Did you have to disconnect the hoses and remove the head in order to do this fix?

I did not have to remove the hoses. I was able to unbolt the unit from the baseplate and lift it up about six inches. I used a few books wrapped in a plastic bag to hold the toilet up. I then was able to remove the plate. I then lowered the toilet and marked the holes. then re-lifted the toilet, drilled, then lowered and installed. All in all about a thirty minute job.
Solid is good!
