Attaching a Whisker pole to the mast

Hi we have a 2008 Catalina 350 hull 485. It has a in-mast furling system. Has anyone connected a mast padeye or T track based spinnaker slider to the mast? The shape of the mast is hard to match from the looks of what is on the Internet.

Anyone figure out how to attach the whisker pole to the mast? What parts did you use?

Please verify what brand mast you have-- two different ones were used over the years and the answer may be brand-specific.

Brett mentioned there are two furling masts; the other is Charleston Spar.
