Autopilot course computer

Post by elk »

My C350 is a 2006, hull 399, and came with the autopilot installed. It's a Raymarine ST6002 control head and a type 2 linear drive.

My question is; does anyone know what course computer would have come with this setup?

Thanks,
Ed Kruzel

Just speculation, but suspect it could be interfaced to your GPS not a part of the autopilot itself. Wiring would depend on which GPS you have.

Raymarine still has their legacy manuals on line.

Looks like they could have used a SmartPilot S2 with the Linear type 2 drive.

Page 22 of the manual Steve provided the link for:

How to connect NMEA equipment

Again, this is assuming you are wanting to be able to interface your GPS with your autopilot, not just make the autopilot a complete, functioning stand alone devise.

Please let us know if this is what you are asking!
