Replacement Parts

Post by vineyardsailor »

All,

I have noticed a difference in the spare parts that I have been buying. The parts are no longer coming in the usual Universal turquiose boxes and are no longer marked with the Universal logo and Part numbers. Has anybody else noticed the change?

Could it be due to the fact that Westerbeke acquired Universal?

Interesting. Friday I bought two oil filters (300209) from the Westerbeke/Universal dealer in Seabrook TX.

Turquoise box and Universal on the filter element-- same as always.

What markings were on the box/parts?

If not either Universal or Westerbeke, I wonder if your dealer may have outsourced the parts?
