I have some brown discoloration in the gray non-skid portion on my deck. It only seems to appear where the non-skid is smooth. I have had several opinions given as to cause, and Catalina is supposed to come fix it in Oct. I was told that it is a "sunburn" where the "patchaide" was incorrectly added or left out of the gel coat during the build. This caused UV degradation (sunburn). I have also been told that there may have been some contamination in the mold which is causing the gel coat issue. Anyone care to weigh in?
