Schaefer Shout out was Schaefer 2100 Furling & Lower Bearing Assy

I'm leaving tomorrow on a 2 week trip of around 500nm (most of the miles over 4 days), so I decided to go ahead and replace the lower drum assembly.

I called Schaefer yesterday. The part arrived via UPS Ground TODAY! 26 hours from order to delivery. They are in New Bedford MA, and I'm in NYC, but never the less...

In addition, they took it upon themselves to include the 4 Phillips screws (different part number) that secure the drum to the torque tube, as well as a printed installation booklet.

I am really impressed.
