Bilge Cover Deck Fitting in Salon sole

The brown frame for the main bilge cover is cracking and I'm trying to determine how to best repair it. Seems that Catalina put a pretty big cover on a relatively flimsy frame and it cantilevers this fiberglass frame. I'm thinking I may need to re-glass it and was also thinking about putting some shims on the keel frames to provide additional support. Suggestions?

Have you checked with Catalina to see if a replacement is available?

With the very few we have seen reported broken, I would not be afraid to go back with the OE design if available.

Can't tell without an inspection mirror but it appears that this is just a part of the mold for the sole frame...
