We own m'LadyJ, a Catalina C350, #286. We bought the boat new in 2004 and have lived aboard 2 to 3 months a year every year thereafter. The galley is used extensively. Lately we have been finding a white 'dust' in the oven, and on occasion, a dime sized pile of this dust.

We do not know the source of this dust, but suspect that it may the be the insulations in the oven disintegrating. And yes, I have tasted it - a bit salty. Any ideas. I have called Catalina, but they hVe yet to return my call. tp
