Raymarine ST60 TriData - need replacement

Post by Barbara »

Our TriData ST60 instrument isn't functioning properly anymore. There is a big, dark area in the center, making it nearly impossible to read, plus the readings are not accurate any more. Has anyone replaced their instruments and has a perfectly good one gathering dust? We'd be interested in purchasing a good condition, used ST60 if available. Thank you!

Barbara,
Did you find any spare leftover ST60 equipment? My Smart Pilot Controller ST6001 recently developed a dark screen and I am looking for a replacement. Raymarine no longer supplies parts for this obsolete model.

Hi Ken,

You are probably aware, and understand that you are after the Tri-data, but just to let you know that there is a guy in UK who refurbishes and sells ST60 wind vane units, and buys old ones back as well. Don't know if he handles other ST60 stuff or just the wind vane.

I recall that there was a sailor in Colorado that might be able to repair these. But I cannot find his name on the forum.
Can anyone remember his name and contact information?

Ken,

Did you find a replacement ST6001 auto pilot display. I have one for sale. Note that the backlight doesn't work so does not light up at night.

Ray, thank you very much. I will write it down this time!

Alan, I have not seen Ken‘s response but let’s wait and see about his needs. If he is not interested I might be.
