Calrify hard start

What I have experienced is that at the dock, and most all the time, my engine starts instantly. After an afternoon of heeling over to the lower windows, it might take 7-10 secs, to start. This accures whether the boat is flat or heeled. If you have experieinced hard start, what's it like, and did it...

Hard Sail - Hard Start

I'd like to start a discussion on this issue. I am experiencing this. I know that others have written and asked about it. Let's see if we can get to the bottom of it, get it fixed, and live happily ever after. Question: Have you experienced this, and have you found a solution? Please reply even if y...

Vibration Noise

Tested the original prop that Catalina had cut down to 14". Results: still have a vibration noise, and the boat is slower than with the original 15". This is not the solution. The 14R10 new prop that was previously tested is a Michigan Dyna prop. It has wide blades on it. The original prop...

Start Battery

I too added the third battery, with no third water tank. All I had to purchase was a 48" cable, and a 14" cable, in addition to the battery and box. I have both 4D's on battery switch 1, and the Start battery on switch two. I also ran an additional wire from the third spot on the Charles c...

You'll love this boat.

Bill here, owner of TRIUMPH since May of 05. This is boat number 17 for me. I've owned, raced, and sailed on many, many boats. I've had a hunter, beneteau, o'day, pearson, and others. This boat sails very well. They other comment you have from the other owner is right on. And I'm they guy dealing wi...

Refer efficancy

Since I'm here in Tampa near the Catalna factory, I would be more than happy to be the test dummy for this issue too. I'd love for them to evaluate mine, and improve the performance. I am thinking of installing a blower on the unit, Armin says this helped his unit. Adler Bauber sells one for $107. M...

dirt down the side

I wash the dirt off wth soap and warm water ... This is not an issue for Catalina. It's boat maintenance. What I'd like to see is a way to catch water off the decks and fill the water tanks. this is where you'd stop up the scuppers, and open the water fill. If you're cruising the Bahamas, this would...

Neat ideas

I'm an idea guy, and I'd like to share my C350 improvement ideas with the group. Likewise, I'd like to see and hear about other C350 owners neat ideas. For instance, where to mount a dinghy engine lift, what bed sheets fit out bunks best, installing a salt water faucet in the galley hooked up to the...

Vibration Noise

Took a week long cruise with the 14" prop that I was testing for Gerry Douglas at Catalina. No noise from prop in a variety of conditions. Vibration noise is gone. As i reported earlier, no loss of power or speed either. Upon returning home, I have received back the original prop that was alter...

Vibration Noise

Armin is correct. I have now sent my original prop to Catalina, where they are going to have it altered. They will then ask me to test this and compare it to the new 14x10 prop. I'm going cruising from Tampa to Sanibel this week, and will further test the performance of the 14x10 new prop. Bill s/v ...
