Re: Plugged Refer Side Door Drain

I think I got it worked out. I really don't know where it drains to but I ran a stiff bailing wire down through it a few times and then took a West System syringe, wrapped electric tape to match the hole and blasted a bunch of water down through it. It appears to be opened up now, water is draining ...

Plugged Refer Side Door Drain

On our 2005 350, behind the side door of the refridgerator there is an extrusion (think gutter) to catch condensation. The small drain hole in the center is plugged making the condensation overflow and ending up on the floor of the galley. I tried clearing it out with a wire tie without success and ...

Re: Flexofold Oddesy And Results

The yard thought there was a possibility of having the shaft repaired, in hindsight I should've went with my instinct and just had them to cut it out anyway and order a new shaft. Higher education IS expensive!

Re: Blue And Red Water Line Size 2005

RESOLVED!!! There are no fittings beneath the galley floor, just straight runs of 15mm Sea Tech SF-857 (Blue) and SF-858 (Red) Uniflex lines (Now Aqua Lock). What I origi ally thought was a part number was a partial phone number. In tbe galley, the storage pan does not come out, if you unscrew the w...

Re: Blue And Red Water Line Size 2005

Yeah, I'll probably do something along those lines. I'm going down this morning with a bore scope to actually see the leak before I start cutting things. After that I'll have a piece of it to find the proper connector to connect whatever I patch in.

Blue, Red Water Line Size and leak RESOLVED

The blue and red potable water lines on our 2005 boar read Sea Tech 888-500-056, I can't see a size on the limited section of line I looked at. In looking up Sea Tech, they were bought by Watts Agualock. They appear to have the same type of tubing. Is the 350's tubing 1/2" or 15mm? The reason I...

Flexofold Oddesy And Results

After much research and back and forth with Flexofold we decided on a 3 blade RH 15X10 prop ($2,463). Our boat is a 2005, M35B with a 1:88 gear ratio. Friday we splashed, pulled back out for a correction and slashed a 2nd time to sit and regain shape (story below). Saturday they checked alignment an...

Total Loaded Boat Weight?

In the "specs" for a Catalina 350 it states the "designed weight", "Light Displacement weight" and "Displacement" is between 12.xxx and 14,xxx pounds depending on wing keel or fin keel. That's for a dry, fresh out of the factory boat. What I can't seem to find...

Re: Hatch size/covers

I just ordered a set from Outland for our 350. Great guys to deal with. They have the patterns already for the 350. Just tell them the year of the boat. $229 plus shipping is the price they quoted me. This is great news! I'm glad I read this! I was getting ready to go down and measure our new to us...

Re: Does the 350 Have A Prop Shaft Taper?

Taper should be to SAE J755 specifications. THANKS! This helps a lot!!! So based on this information a 1" shaft will have a taper of 1 in 16 which should complete their order page. Their site also states you can call them but I can't seem to find a phone number anywhere. It would be nice to ta...

Re: Does the 350 Have A Prop Shaft Taper?

Thanks Scott and Linda and Brett! I made the inquiry with them and received a "we don't know response" you would figure by now they would have a data base on this with all the sales they've made. Here is their response which DIDN'T include an attachment. I did include the engine and transm...

I'm sure they do, I was filling out an online form. I might just call and hear what they have to say.

Does the 350 Have A Prop Shaft Taper?

After reading tons of posts and discussions and ending up with more questions than I started with. I have concluded to go with a Flex-O-Fold collapsing propeller for our "New to us" 350. We had one on our recently sold 320 and loved it. I read that size/pitch varies on our boats due to tra...

Introduction

Hello Everyone! I guess this is the correct section for introductions, so here goes. We sold our beloved 2000 C320 and bought our "new to us" 2005 C350 within 4 hours of each other on October 26th. As busy as we are the 1st trip out as new owners was from our yacht club to a local marina f...
