Re: cockpit shower
Kirk,
I have spent far too much time and money trying to solve the same problem - unfortunately unsuccessfully. Please let me know what you find. I am actually thinking about trying block off the hot water feed and turn it into a fresh water hose.
Thanks
Dan

Line Drawing of Catalina 350
Hello,
I was looking to make some t-shirts and wanted to see if anyone had a good line drawing file for the 350?
Thanks

I actually did this same upgrade and went with the angled version - it came out great.

Re: VHF antenna replacement
I don’t have have any reason to think it was a lightening strike - but certainly could have been. The VHF antenna still looks fine - I had thought the one that broke off was the VHF but turned out to be AM/FM antenna. My VHF signal is very poor - my portable handhold actually gets better reception. ...

Re: VHF antenna replacement
The plot thickens — this is actually a AM/FM antenna. Just off the phone with Metz (great service). The giveaway is the gold plated connection to the antenna whip and the long(er) antenna whip - which I found broken off on the side of the deck a while back. The VHF antenna is 34” and has a nickel pl...

Re: VHF antenna replacement
I was able to get the unit down from the top of the mast. It looks like the part may be discontinued- but guessing it must be a fairly standard part. I called Metz but haven’t heard back. Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
I can’t seem to upload the picture. But the unit is a Metz 519802.

VHF antenna replacement
Has anyone replaced their VHF antenna whip? My antenna snapped off and I’ve ordered a replacement whip from Catalina Direct. Sent my son up the mast this AM and he could not see how/where the whip screwed in. He wasn’t able to get pictures, so checking if anyone has done this previously and has any ...

Re: Broken Cotter Pin?
Thanks Brett - if I’m using the right terminology should I be concerned about the cotter pin holding the clevis pin in? It looks sheered to me? I hadn’t considered that the clevis was too short - so to your point - I may need to replace that with a longer one.

Broken Cotter Pin?
Just removed our winter cover and was inspecting the rigging connections and saw this what looks to be broken cotter pin on the forestay. Any thoughts as to how to replace? Is the pin meant to be all the way over on the side like that? Thanks

Thanks

Re: Marine Elegance Hose routing
Bob,
This may be a fairly basic question - but I just ordered the Raritan Elegance and am going to attempt this job. How did you route the fresh water line from the manifold to the cabinet behind the head?
Thanks very much,
Dan
