I have also installed these on my boat. Best upgrade I have done and well worth the money. I used 5/16 line, same as the jib furling line. I do not have a bungee cord on mine, not necessary.
Enjoy

The Canvas Store
Like you I used a variety of colored tarps for several years.....at the end of which they were trash. I got lucky this year and found someone selling a 3 year old custom cover for our 350. It was made by the Canvas Store in Long Island, N.Y. out of what is called Top Gun. It is a very durable materi...

Sail Removal
Welcome to the family. We have owned our 350 for three seasons. The way I remove the sails for winter is to roll them loosly off the head stay and the mast then fold so they will fit in the bags. Seems to work and is fairly easy to re mount next Spring.

Important.....Fuel Filter
I discovered, almost by accident, there is an additonal fuel filter on our engines. It was inlcuded in the spare parts kit but not mentioned in any of the documentation. It is an in-line filter right after the Racor mounted on the engine. A little difficult to get at but should be changed once a yea...

What about winter
I just returned from "Just Add Wind". Since it's winter here, she is on the hard. I was very surprised by what I found in the bilge. About 3" of water up forward by the pump. FROZEN....as a result the pump would not work either. Should I be concerned? I am also puzzled about the sourc...

Hot Water By Pass
I made up a bypass hose that I use at the manifold. Diconnect the cold water feed for the hotwater heater and the hot water return that feeds the hot water manifold. Use the bypass hose to connect directly between the manifolds. I also open the hotwater tank drain and presure relief valve so the tan...

Has anyone installed curtains on the ports in the main cabin? Curious about where and what you purchased.

New Prop
I'm curious....we have to pay for the new prop???? Seems like we should get replacements for free since there is a design problem with the original. How do the rest of us feel?

Something else to check
I was putting our sails back on last Sunday after winter lay up. While hoisting the jib I noticed the collar that joins the drum to the shaft had come off. Fortunately it landed on the deck and the four allen screws stayed attached. I can not figure out how it came loose. Maybe the vibrations of the...

Mattress Extensions
While at the boat show last month I looked at the new 350. They had optional mattress extensions on the forward berth. Was wondering if anyone had them....could comment on them. Also, how did you handle a bottom sheet for them.
