George I didn't even realize there was a plastic cover to retain the bulb. We just plugged the new bulb in and left it, I will ask my dealer about the cover plate and a protective bale to cover it. This is obviously a design flaw worth following up on. Joel

George My son and I just replaced that bulb, missing since purchase, I will post info later today for you. One thing I did find interesting was there doesn't seem to be anything retaining the bulb in place. Maybe that piece is missing too. Joel

Engine Bolts

Has anyone ever had a problem with engine bolts, more specifically the bolts that position the engine on the rails. Our 50 hour check was done and these bolts were loose, so a complete realignment of engine and coupling were needed. Does this sound like a warranty issue or a normal maintenance item....

Foggy gauges

My wife and I recently motored for 4 hours on a recent trip, the gauges were fogged the whole trip. I keep the pedestal covered at all times. My newest problem is that the Raymarine G.P.S. is also fogging up, it does clear up after several hours. It is a thoroughly annoying problem. Joel :shock:

I am in the process of adding a dedicated start battery, any and all info regarding installation materials wiring routes etc would be helpful.I would like to do it myself so keep it simple, we have the third water tank in the port dinette.
