Re: Depth of wing keel
blake, welcome! what an awesome boat. I have hull #318 "Chanticleer" here on the Tennessee River. I too have the wing and offset my depth to bottom of the keel. It's been a couple of years, but I believe the depth of the transducer is approx. 3'. A good way to check this is, while at the d...

Re: Boat swap for week or more

coolant leak
I really appreciate these forums. They have helped immensely in caring for maintenance items, etc... Last month I brought my boat up from Mobile, AL via the Tennessee Tombigbee waterway. Alex PS Hopefully, I should have chanticleer out of Mobile early next month. I don't want to risk leaving her th...

generator
When I bought Chanticleer, she had the factory AC/Heat installed, but no gen-set. With my cruising area being the gulf coast and the Tennessee River, I knew there would be times away from the dock where air would be nice. Turner Marine recommended the Fischer Panda 4200. I was concerned that it woul...

Katrina Survivor (Barely)
I'm very happy to be able to be a part of the Catalina 350 family. It almost didn't happen. Let me tell you my story. My first look at the Catalina 350 was in May of last year at Turner Yacht sales in Mobile, AL. Love at first sight. By the middle of June, the decision was made, and the fitting out ...
